Hi. My name is Henry Nahurski.
I believe in using art and design to tell compelling stories in everything from branding and marketing to animation and games.
I’m a recent University of Minnesota graduate with a double major in Art and Graphic Design. I’m a systems thinker. I’m all about the idea. The concept. Sketching, illustration, photography, typography, color, animation, interactive—I love it all, but what really interests me is coming up with creative solutions to difficult problems. I’m not afraid of a challenge. In fact, I’m always looking for new ways to push myself to learn and grow, not only as a designer, but as a person. I believe in originality, variety, and finding that fine line where art meets design.
- I recently spent a month studying abroad in Tokyo, Japan.
- In 2011, I made daily sketches that culminated in my first solo art show showing all 365 sketches.
- Although I can’t read music, I’m trying to teach myself piano and guitar in my spare time. I have a list of obscure instruments I want to learn someday, including the harp and didgeridoo.
- My Myers-Briggs personality type is INTJ—just like Isaac Newton, Stephen Hawking, and Lewis Carroll!
